“Art Platz” gallery’s exhibition project for emerging artists
The art gallery “Art Platz” continues the initiated exhibition project FORESIGHT and invites emerging artists to apply for participation in the gallery's 2024/2025 exhibition program.
Project rules and phases:
The preview or pre-exhibition of the project consists of the works of several selected artists. The pre-exhibition will be titled “FORESIGHT 2025 – Preview”. Each participant presents one work to be exhibited in the preview-exhibition. During the period from 01.12.2024 to 30.12.2024, gallery visitors will have the opportunity to discover the artists' works and vote for their favourites. The artist who receives the most votes will be given the opportunity to organize a solo exhibition in one of the gallery's exhibition halls. The aim of the project is to offer exhibition spaces to each of the artists and show their individual style, personality and message through their exposition.
Participants:
Professional artists who have already obtained a diploma or are final-year students at a specialized art or design higher education institution. Participants can submit artworks in classical and new techniques, incl. digital media. Each artist submits three works for selection for the preview-exhibition. The exhibition project is international, and applications are open to artists from different countries.
“Art Platz” gallery provides:
· Modern, spacious and well-equipped exhibition premises in one of the most popular districts of Riga – The Quiet District, Art Nouveau area, Alberta Street 4.
· Individual welcoming of visitors and guided tours through the exhibition and gallery.
· Publicity on the gallery's social network profiles: Facebook, Instagram, and X.
· Publishing of information and artist's portfolio on the gallery’s website www.platzkart.info/en/.
· Further opportunities for cooperation – solo exhibitions and group exhibition projects.
· Access to Art Platz Auction online auction platform www.art-platz.com/en/.
· Opportunity for digital artists to publish their artwork in NFT format on the leading digital art platform OpenSea www.opensea.io.
Application:
Applications for the exhibition project must be submitted by 25.10.2024. CV and portfolio with no less than five works should be submitted by sending them to the e-mail below or contacting the gallery.

December 2024 – preview-exhibition “FORESIGHT 2025 – Preview”
June 2025 – artist's solo exhibition
